"Scene One, Take One. CUT!             Cut the foul language. Cut the gratuitous sex. Cut the graphic violence. Cut the "politically-     correct" indoctrination. Leave       the "good stuff". It's simple but that's our "formula" at Local   Legend Filmedia". Sound like a   formula you could support? 

"As a little kid, my dad ( -a Sicilian       immigrant's son ) went to the movies.     He watched Tom Mix, Hoot Gibson and     the cowboy heroes of his day. He saw   all of the era's "swashbucklers" ( -Errol Flynn was his personal favorite ). These movies instilled in him a strong sense of "right and wrong" and always rooting for the underdog while protecting the inno-cent. They called it the "American Way". Back then everyone "got it" and lived it!" 

"So, in memory of my dad, these are the kind of heroes you'll find in our films. Heroes a kid can look up to and strive to emulate. Heroes who "do the right thing" even when the right thing is often the hardest thing to do. Heroes who are good "role models". Since Hollywood DOESN'T "get" this, we're toying with the idea of casting our Campaign Contributors in film roles. Maybe the next Errol Flynn ( or ) Gary Cooper is reading this now! Maybe the next Olivia Dehavilland or Virginia Mayo! We haven't come to a final decision on this but it's something we're mulling over. Would you like to see ordinary people ( i.e: LLF Contributors like YOU ) cast as film leads, villains, supporting cast, character actors and extras in our future films? Back in the day, Hollywood respected the intel-ligence of their audiences. They knew how to use the "theater of the mind" to allude to sens-itive subjects and scenes. They knew their film audiences were smart enough to "fill in" what their camera work only alluded to. They didn't have to show things "explicitly" like today. They had class and decorum. Go ahead and call us "Goody Two Shoes" -but we'd like to bring back those "theater of the mind" days and restore a bit of class and decorum to film making. We think our audiences deserve that.
